Useless Bay Coffee and Lunch

Ahhhh. It's always a pleasure to get together with my sketcher friends for an afternoon of sketching. We met at the Unitarian Church in Freeland for a small reception of our Whidbey Island Sketchers group show, then went to Useless Bay Coffee for sketching, lunch and a viewing of my little show there. Great sandwich and cup of soup!

    Tomorrow I will try to sketch only with paints as your example before.

    Yup, this is a good one. I like the saturated colors, the composition, the reflection in the sunglasses. This one might make a nice banner for the blog.

    I like the new look of the blog. I just clicked all the tabs to see what's what.

    btw sketching with paint has not happened yet, but it will soon I promise.
