WISk at the Brown Lantern, Anacortes

Sketching at the Fisherman's World Market was such a great experience I doubted it could be rivaled, but it was! The Brown Lantern Pub proved to be another great location. Warm atmosphere, characters and good food. And last but not least, the camaraderie of my fellow sketchers. If you were to look up "Fun" in the dictionary you'll find us sketchers in the definition!

Griffin, the Guemes ferry boat captain asked us please not to sketch him because we'd steal his soul. Sorry Griffin, you were a great subject. Thanks for sitting semi still!

An unsuspecting guy sitting at the bar. I noticed Anacortes residents have great profiles, defined features and larger noses!

A young couple who looked like they were just getting to know each other. Very sweet.

  4. I can't believe nice people like the WISk would steal a man's soul.

    These are all great sketches.

  5. Thanks for your comments, Lauara and Sue! Yes, our group are all very nice people. We'd never sketch anyone who didn't want to be sketched;o)
