These are so pretty and cheerful. You are a master at the watercolor sketch, and you make it look so easy. But it's not easy at all, trying to control all that water and pigment and make it do what you envision. I admire these paintings so much!
So very kind of you to say, Katherine. Thanks! I think the trick to watercolor is to not have a preconception or expectation for it's (or the picture's) outcome. For me it's easiest to let go and not try to control it. Having some understanding of its behaviors is very helpful. And I have a long ways to go!
