Hammons Preserve
A few plein air studies of Hammons Preserve. Hammons overlooks Cultus Bay. A beautiful place to have a picnic or just sit on the bench and admire the landscape.
A couple words about painting oil en plein air... It's very difficult!! But there's nothing like being outside, painting in the open, watching the subtle changes in light.

Gorgeous and evocative. I love them all.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Dan! There are so many beautiful views there. It's an inspiring place!
ReplyDeleteStunning paintings Kris. Like Dan I love them all, but especially the light in the top one.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your encouragement, Sue. That's my favorite one too. You had an adventuresome summer, I see!
