Reese and a Sunset

It's been cold and clear, for the most part, the last couple days. Beautiful. Dark clouds have been looming, but the sun has managed to shine. Took the dogs for a walk late today and arrived at our destination, the bluff in the Headlands, after the sun had set. The sky was still lit blue and orange, and the tide was out revealing interesting sand bar patterns below. It was all so lovely, I tried to capture some part of it in the dark, quickly.



Last night I played with toning my moley and painting in gouache and watercolors. A couple sketches of Reese, my usual subject.
